I can confidently say that our experience with Firststeps Playgroup has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped through the doors, it was evident that this nursery is not just a place of learning, but a true sanctuary for children’s growth and development.

Parents observation while they were filling their registration form:
When they came into the playgroup they saw all the staff trying to settle the new children. They showed affection towards the children, they were gentle, warm and caring .They could see that some children were upset and the staff were hugging them to comfort them. Some staff were speaking their home language to the children which was very nice to hear and the parent said in their own words that “that’s bought comfort to their heart” as to how their children will be looked after whilst in your care.
One child who I have worked with almost a year and half, his mum is so happy to send him to Firststeps. The nursery where they had originally registered him didn’t show what your staff have showed her. So she decided to Firststeps is the one. 💃
One mum said she couldn’t believe how quickly you have sorted her child’s funding and the support he will have at Firststeps. Her son absolutely loves the playgroup and doesn’t want to go home and he has only started on Monday.
Mum will bring her nephew too she said 😊 who has speech delay.

Since working at the Family Hub, we have fostered a strong partnership with Firststeps Nursery. The Manager, SENDCO and the dedicated staff have consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment and proficiency in their roles. Regular and effective communication is upheld between our teams to cater to the diverse needs of the families we serve.
Every child referred to Firststeps has received invaluable assistance and support from the competent staff. Sandeep and the entire team exhibit remarkable dedication in providing tailored support for each child. Parents feedback regarding Firststeps Playgroup
The playgroup has supported us and helped us understand our child’s needs and how to support them at home. They will talk us through the process of what support they are putting in place, what strategies they will follow, updates on our child’s progress and development.
We have been supported with what specialist school or independent school our child would need after completing the nursery year with them.
Our children settled in very well as we were very anxious as to how will our child settle especially when they have very limited understanding.
